About San Ysidro
San Ysidro is the southernmost neighborhood in San Diego, defined by the San Ysidro Port of Entry - the busiest land border crossing in the Western Hemisphere. About 30,000 residents live here in a tight-knit community where cross-border commerce and culture flow daily. San Ysidro Boulevard is the commercial spine, lined with shops, restaurants, and services. The I-5 and I-805 split right above the neighborhood, funneling traffic in every direction.
