About Old Town
Old Town San Diego is the city's birthplace and now a state historic park surrounded by restaurants, shops, and a major transit hub. About 3,200 residents live here, but four million visitors a year pass through. The trolley station connects the Blue and Green Lines. Congress Street and San Diego Avenue are the main routes through the historic core. The I-5/I-8 interchange looms over the neighborhood, funneling commuters past daily.
